About Us

We are a group of people who share our love of motorcycles and riding them.  The purpose for establishing the American Indian & Biker Alliance M/C is to promote a bond between the motorcycles we ride and the passion for sharing our experiences with a trusted group of brothers and sisters.  We are an independent, non-profit club, with no allegiance to other clubs.  All of our chapters wear a "Nomads" bottom rocker, as we are a "Nomadic people" claiming no territory as our own.  Our officers are Native American by direct blood or descent and non-Native individuals who participate in the growing and nurturing of our native culture.  All of our members must have some knowledge of the American Indian Movement and the Native American Culture.

Mission Statement

The mission of the American Indian & Biker Alliance M/C (A.I.B.A.) is to provide a fraternal spirit between our club and the community through development and organization of A.I.B.A. sponsored charitable events.  It is our desire to promote a better understanding of native culture within the biker community, and to remove the civilian community's negative stigma of the biker lifestyle.  Our continuing focus is to aid children and elders within the Native and non-Native communities.  During the administration of this aid we intend to establish an understanding of American Indian values, culture and the enjoyment of motorcycling to our communities.

Club History

Full Patch Member - These are the colors worn by a full member of the A.I.B.A. M/C.  These colors must be earned through time, loyalty and dedication to the club and it's membership.  After the one year anniversary of full patch membership, the "AIBAF" and "FAIBA" tabs will be placed just below the top rocker.  As stated above, ALL Chapters of the A.I.B.A. M/C will wear the "NOMADS" bottom rocker as we claim no territory as our own.  We are a "NOMADIC PEOPLE".
Prospect Patch - These are the colors worn by a "Prospect".  Once an individual has successfully completed the "Hang Around" period, and is sponsored by a "Vested" member, the "Hang Around" is promoted to "Prospect" status and issued these colors.  **As of 12/14/08 a change has been made - the bottom rocker will now read "PROSPECT" instead of "NOMADS"**
Associate Patch - This is a one piece patch.  The Associate Patch is usually worn by any individual who rides as a passenger with an active member.  Associates must be sponsored by a full patch member.
Junior Patch - This one piece patch is worn by junior members (under the age of 16).  The junior patch is usually worn by the children/relatives of full patch members.
Supporter Patch - This is a patch that can be purchased and worn by anyone wishing to show their support for the A.I.B.A M/C and the A.I.B.A.'s cause.  As stated above, we are a non-profit organization and our continuing focus is to aid children and elders in the Native and non-Native communities.
